It’s not the sturdiest piece on the truck for sure. I want to mount lights on the front and I didn’t want to drill into the bumper. This was the cheapest and easiest way to achieve that. It will serve its purpose and it does look nice.Install wasn’t as easy. Directs aren’t straight forward with which piece goes on which side when installing. The U shaped bracket also didn’t have threads that went far enough up so the nut and washer couldn’t tighten enough to keep it from moving. I had to go buy extra washers to take up the space to secure it.I also had to cut out holes in the bottom of the bumper since I didn’t have tow hooks. Not an issue, but a step I wasn’t expecting.Worked well. It does not bolt so well that it does not move when someone puts weight on it, but the product is pretty solid. Have had it on my truck for over a year and no issues.Fit my sons 2013 Tacoma perfectly and was easy to installLooks good on my truck. The mounting brackets could be a little more hefty and the instructions are vague but not hard to figure out with some mechanical experience. The lights are bright and don't have much washout. Downfall is a lot of rf interference. An inline filter would be a great factory addition.Sencillo al montar.Very happy with the results. Easy install and looks to be good quality from my initial take on it. Installed it on my 2010 F150 with some lights.Looks awesome, very sturdy, arrived perfect, yada yada, all the stuff everyone else says. But I just want to make your life easier by adding this:The first 45 minutes of the install was spent just getting off the four 14mm nuts from the frame, behind the bumper. My Tacoma is 6 years old, so those nuts were super tight, and there's also very little room to work. You'll need a (preferably long) 14mm box wrench and a mallet to break them loose, and don't waste your time looking for a 14mm socket, because there's no point. WHAT YOU NEED is a standard 14mm (long) box wrench for breaking them loose, plus a ratcheting box wrench for getting them off. Fortunately, I found mine, or I'd still be out there to this day.You also need to begin the entire process by popping the hood and removing the grill, which is dead simple. It has two 10mm screws on top (with Philips heads, too), and 4 plastic snap pins (2 top, 2 bottom). Use a thin flat driver to carefully pop them out. With all 4 pins and 2 screws out, carefully press out the plastic tabs at the bottom corners of the grill. With the grill out, the upper 14mm nuts are much easier to get to after you've broken them loose from below. If I were to repeat this install, I could do it in 30 minutes. It's all about having a quality ratcheting 14mm box wrench on hand from the start, and getting the grill out of the way.You also need a 16mm short socket, and 16, 17, and 19mm box wrenches.I liked the bar until one of the #2 brackets snapped while driving. Terrifying. I've tried emailing the company with no response and no number to call to get a replacementa month into a canadian winter. rusting out all over the place. it was cheap dont get me wrong, but the time to take this off the truck, sand blast it, paint it. dude, dont cheap out, dont buy this light holder. it offers jack for impact protection it is flimsy AFit was damaged when I got it chipped take a close look at your bar when you get it. Also very disappointed at the hold up. Against the winter only had it on my truck 6 mouth not a year yet already rustedProduct exceeds expectations, was delivered well within stated time.Instructions are back wards .the hunch’s are backwards in the picture.Facile à installer, donne une nouvelle dimension au camion.
