Love the simplicity. I give 4 stars as I was getting extremely frustrated on assembling the footrest part. Installing the screws was so challenging I only have 3 out of the 4 screws fully inserted.My fiancé and I purchased 4 of these chairs. They were not easy to put together because the hardware was so cheap, it messed up the threads, snapped a bolt and stripped out with the wrench that was given in the bag (just while tightening it mind you, the bolt was not all the way in). It felt like we had the wrong bolts when putting the thing together because we had to force it to fit. The finish on the hardware is cheap and will flake off and the balance feet that you can adjust are all out of whack, again bolts that don’t seem to fit.We ended up buying all new hardware and had to super fit it to work. Kinda regret the purchase.One stool was great. The other was complete lopsided and no holes would line up and the seat was slanted. Regret It.These stools were hard to assemble (bolts did not screw in properly) and are very cheap looking. OK for a dorm room.I love how these look in my kitchen at the island. We just moved here, first time with an island, and these were exactly what was needed. They were a pain to assemble, although relatively quick to assemble. It was much simpler once I figured out that the square support piece don't fit the legs as easily as a puzzle. Took a bit of effort to make them fit. Also, due to the holes not lining up in the seat, one screw is missing in one chair, and two in the other. Still seems sturdy enough, but would be great if all the screws fit. Several family members have sat in them so far, and my small child continually climbs up and own on them, and they have held up so far, so I'm overall satisfied.These counter height chairs/stools are probably the most comfortable on this price range. After sitting on plenty of those straight L-Shaped with the chrome stemmed-leg i can tell you these are more comfortable than those as these cradle your body more evenly and they are slightly curved with an egg-shaped slope that goes slightly up on the side ends, i miss the side swivel of those though.These look great, very modern and sophisticated!The texture and quality of the polyurethane leather is soft to the touch but feel of good quality and that it'll last a reasonable amount of time in good condition as long as you're not too rough with it.The frame of the seat feels sturdy as well but there is no way for me to actually see it, however, the leg framing doesn't reflect the same quality as the upper portion of the chair.The bottom assembly is of poorer quality overall and i predict it'll be the failing point of these chairs when it happens, but i'm taking into account that these are still budget chairs delivered to your door.Assembling on of these was a nightmare to the extent that one of them had a chunk of metal between the hole drilled on the leg framing that wouldn't line up with the seat threading, so quality control is dubious, i had to very carefully drill the chunk out of my way in order to be able to complete the assembly of the chair, i doubt everybody will go that same route.I feel these are slightly overpriced at $180, had i no issues assembling it, and valued at $140-150 these would have been 5-stars, but the price made it lose half a star and the assembly issues, that based on other reviews is commonplace due to low quality control made it lose a whole star, so it's a 3.5-Star product rounded to 4.These are attractive bar stools and sturdy. The seats are comfortable and the material is soft. But they weren't the easiest to assemble. Instructions mainly show parts and what goes where. However, the order in which to put the pieces together is not explained. It took a lot of strength and manipulating the legs to get them in place for attaching screws. I do like the finished product, but there was quite a bit of frustration before we got the stools built.These barstools are comfortable to sit in. The fabric is a pleather material and cushioned. These took 30 minutes to assemble. The legs are very modern. Unfortunately they are too short for my barstool and I wish they were offered at a taller height.
