I purchased this for work as I start hours before daybreak. My work many times calls for seeing what is at the bottom of deep pits and I purchased this with the thought of lowering the light into the pit to see the bottom; as it turned out the light is bright enough to illuminate everything for me from the top.We are also in an area that tends to lose power in storms; this light illuminates a room well enough to get around very easily and I intend to purchase several more for this purpose in different rooms. The power time is as advertised even when being used all week in very cold weather and it quickly recharges. The light is of a sturdy build and I hope that it will last in the same way as it performs.I've wasted a lot of money on LED products, from flashlights to headlamps; so far this is my best purchase.
