The colors are great. Often blue LEDs are hard to look at somehow. Sometimes even the yellows can look cold. These almost look like incandescent colors - they are really the red, yellow, green, and blue that I was hoping for. I'm using this on my Christmas tree. (Note the pic is only showing blue & green lit up.) One strand was more than enough and I have a fluffy 9' tree. Sadly, the string is silver instead of green but it looks fine. I could hide it behind garland if I wanted.It did not come w/ instructions and they product description does not mention that you can change settings. Their images on the web show the button you use to change settings at the bottom of one of the last pictures. The button itself looks like a power button. So I was unhappy w/ the continual switching of colors and blink speed and didn't realize I could change it to settle on one style of blinking. Now that I know how to do that, I'm much happier.Great product.I love the length and that you can add on for the perfect size. I was suprised by how bright they are. I bought red, white & blue and lined the house. My only wish was that they came in 1 string like that for each Holiday & maybe Sports Team colors.Was I supposed to get a Remote. Bought 3 boxes and no Remotes.These lights are way to bright. I placed them in a box to store them. Not using them until I need to place them on my roof for rescue purposes.Perfect lights. All control items work. Coo white light however.I am sure I will like this product. I ordered it for my tree in December, however it did not make it in time to put on my tree this year.Unfortunately not made sturdy enough for outdoors. The color is great but even the slightest tug on the cord and it pulls apart! Very unnerving when you check them and then half way done they go out and no way to fix them. Amazon and the vendor did make the returns easy. I thank them for that!Learning to make a mega Chtistmas tree, so I bought 2 of this light, in Green.Actually used 1, because of my mistake in light arrangement, and didn't have time to correct it.The lights in pictures said it all.
