CAP Barbell Olympic Trap Bar - Heavy Duty Hex Bar for Deadlifts & Shrugs - Perfect for Home Gym & Weight Training

This is absolutely brilliant for use when deadlifting. I took to it straightaway- the range of motion feels far more natural (and is safer with heavy weights) than mixed-grip deadlifting with a straight barbell. Couldn't be happier!(The packaging was decimated on one side, but thankfully the bar arrived in almost pristine condition.)This is exactly what I expected the product to be!Really good trap bar, solid welds, just be aware it has extremely aggressive knurling. To help out I used baseball bat tape which worked perfect.We got this for some weighted squats after my husband's PCL injury. He has a hard time placing weigh on his shoulders so this was a great alternative.Very solid construction with a variety of uses above and beyond shrugs and deadlifts. I do Bi’s and tri’s among other movements with the handle setup on this bar!Used for a few months and it was well worth the money.I wasnt expecting too much from this trap bar. Was very apprenensive after reading some of the mixed reviews about quality control. Decided to give it a shot when price dropped below $100. Glad I did. This is as good as any higher priced trap bar out there (for most people). The specs might not be the same, but lets face it, whos lifting over 750? Fit, finish, and welds are all very nice. Dimensions are all relatively square, so no crooked grab handles. Its pretty great. Couldnt really ask for more at just a Benjamin.Expect the most bizarre packaging youve ever seen though...lol.I love doing shoulder shrugs and squats with this bar.Disappointed with the item as it is missing a full set of handles (one on each side) as can be seen in the photo. The bar is good otherwise and is what you would expect from a hex bar. Impossible to give a good review on an item that is so clearly lacking a vital aspect, this removes one aspect of the capability/utility of the bar.Better and tougher than expectedReally good productFast delivery,good packaging and very heavy well made trap bar.
