Even for a DIY installation was pretty easy. The light is great and much better than the old florescent bulb. I agree with the first reviewer - its takes a bit of patience to get the wires stuffed back in; finally had to tape them in with electrical tape. It was worth the effort and tape, though.I purchased and installed three of these to replace annoying, blinking fluorescent units. They give off a solid bar of light, bright but still somewhat soft.
