First think asked if this set was Stainless steel, now that I have received it ITS TOTALLY NOT. And has a lot of defects in the coloring, returning it! ??This is a nice quality set. I love the way everything has its own spot. The only thing I think that's missing from this set is little skewers for garnishesThis rally is a beautiful bar set - to either have or gift. It’s really well made and thought-out. I love that there is a place to store every piece neatly and keep things organized. It’s fantastic. And it come sketch a cute little book with tips and stuff. We use it for our own bar at home but I would totally buy again as a gift if needed. It’s truly a beautiful bar set!I have wanted one of these sets for ages! I'm so happy to find such a complete set with so many accessories and options! I use the shaker every night to make cocktails. It works very well and there's no additional taste thrown off by the shaker. The jigger is perfectly sized so you get the measurements right every time.One of my favorite features is the recipe book that's included with the set. It offers a wonderful assortment of drink recipes and I've really enjoyed trying some new tastes.The muddler is great and I can't wait to try it on some basil for my lemonade recipe. That's the great thing about this set too is it makes such a perfect housewarming gift even for non drinkers since there are so many cool virgin recipes these days.I'm really thrilled with this set and would totally recommend to friends and family!I got this cocktail set to replace a different cocktail set where the stand broke due to poor design. The stand on this cocktail set however is so much better. It's squared design and the support piece in the center will prevent the stand from breaking easily like other stands. This cocktail set is a little bit pricier than my other set, but it also comes with a couple more pieces, has a quality stand, and comes with a little cocktail recipe book which actually has some good stuff in it. As far as the actual pieces in the set go, they are pretty nice and basically every piece or tool you need is in there. The stainless steel on all the pieces seems high quality and the lid specifically on the shaker fits tightly to the shaker cup, so nothing spills out when shaking. Finally, I love the measuring cup it comes with. My other set came with two cups that had different measurements on them, while this set just has one cup, but it has measurement lines inside so you can do the same stuff but not take up as much space.I love this very well appointed cocktail set. It's got everything! Everything has it's own place to sit (and the holes are cut very obviously where it's easy to tell what goes where), the tools are of good quality and clean easily, and it has what you need to make some GREAT cocktails - it even comes with a little recipe book and everything.I love the wood enclosure too - it's sturdy and a cool design that looks nice on display.This would make a great housewarming or anytime gift...and it's a decent price - perhaps a little pricier than the typical kit of this type but it's 100% worth it due to the quality. I recommend it!Proof is in the pudding... er... in this case whiskey sour, I guess. Tested the kit out with this sour, made with the egg white, because it's the right way (in my opinion) and it gave me a chance to test the shaker's tightness/seal on a dry shake and then with ice. Also, tested the strainer on shaken ice and the thicker frothed beverage. Happy to report it performed, as needed. No ice chunks in the drink, and no mess on my counter.I like the double sided 1oz/2oz jigger; the lines marking fractional ounces is nice. I didn't plan on using the stand, but once I got it all out, it really is a nice and convenience to store/sort - so it's now being utilized. Stainless is easy to clean, as expected. The spoon is a decent length; getting deep on a tall glass stir might be inconvenient with the flat top on the spoon, but that's a very minor complaint. I, personally, prefer a wooden muddler, so this one might not get much use, but I can't ding it any points for that.All in all, it's a solid bar kit that covers your basics and does so in a functional way. Maybe the whiskey sour I'm sipping has me in a good mood, but I'm quite satisfied with this kit - if you're looking for a basic bar kit, this definitely fits the bill, and does it well.I have tried many different bar mixing sets and this one rates right up there even with the expensive ones. The set comes complete with everything you need to make mixed beverages, even some recipe cards to try something new. The shaker seal very good and does not leak a single drop. Being stainless steel, thy are very easy to clean and look great sitting out on the counter or bar top. The set also includes a very asymmetrical stylish wood block to hold all the components.This is a great set and priced well. I highly recommend this for anybody looking to make mixed beverages with a great shaker. From beginner to expert this set will do you well.
